Silverstone LC17 HTPC Case Review

Since their launch in 2003 we’ve seen many innovation and high quality products from Silverstone. Today we take a closer look at one of their most known case series: Lascala or LC for short. With more than 17 variations available their aim is to please almost everybody out there. The LC17 is one of their latest full size ATX HTPC cases, to accommodate standard size computer equipment the LC17 is one of the larger members of the LC family and it comes with the usual splendid looks.

About these sentences in your "review":

Quote:

You might have noticed the two screw holes at the sides as shown in the photo in the middle above. These don’t serve a purpose for the LC17....
I guess your "reviewer" did no homework on this case as the Silverstone RA01 rack handles are an optional component for this case, hence the "useless holes" in the side of the case are actually quite useful.

I'm quite convinced I did not see those "optional" rack handles on the product page when we tested this last year:) as you can see we used the specs from the product page and pasted them on the first page, if those optional rack handles were pictured clearly as they are now, I don't think I would have written that sentence down ;)

but thank you for pointing this out, I will update that sentence.

edit: I've asked Silverstone, the RA01 set has only been available for a few weeks now; so it wasn't available at the time of writing this review. The LC18 had these rack mounts included, the LC17 only had the holes for it:)

regards,
the co-"reviewer".
