Scythe Infinity CPU Cooler Review
 

Scythe has been at the top of their game the last several years, releasing excellent high end CPU heatsink which offer amazing performance/noise ratios. Today we test their latest product which is set to overshadow all their previous offerings, 5 heat pipes and 120mm fan support make can make this Tower designed HSF the next best thing. Let´s see if that is true...

that was my final HSF review on the Athlon 64 test setup; I did the testing of this a few weeks ago, but took me more time to get it all written down due to some personal stuff (read: moving to new home).

I'm working now on getting a nice chart set up with all the heatsinks tested on the A64 setup since last year. Then I'm moving to S775 to continue the party! :)

Can it beat the tuniq tower tough?

the Tuniq drops temps ~5°C with same fan at OC'd settings

but the Tuniq's weakness is not performance, but availability. If you can't buy the HSF, it's hard to recommend it? unless it has shown up in shops (again) now?

It's supposed to re-show now :) Availability is increasing according to several shops.
