Default QuietPC 92mm AcoustiFan

Kill the noise in your system without affecting cooling performance, is it possible?

With all these fans running at full speed is what only a matter of time for someone to step up and provide solutions for slowing them down and killing the noise, the AcoustiFan combines several methods into one product, did they succeed?

What value is that resistor to control the fan voltage? I'd like to try that instead of switching the wires on my molex connectors(to get 7v)
Looks like Green Blue Black Gold.
