 |  Patriot PXD 1TB Portable USB 3.2 External SSD Review In terms of drive performance, the PXD 1TB trades punches with the Crucial X8 but the speed is a bit lower during mixed workloads. The sequential read/write speeds are near the rated numbers, while the drive chassis is implemented optimally, using the aluminum area as a heatsink; we were quite surprised to see that the PXD 1TB drive only gets warm during longer usage times, which is great! http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1001267/ |
