| Patriot P220 2TB 2.5'' SSD Review The P220 2TB SSD from Patriot is an entry-level product for the SATA III bus which capitalizes on storage space rather than speed, while being available for just about 88 Euros in online shops. It does come with a Maxio MAS1102B controller and four QLC NAND packages from YMTC and is able to sustain continuous writes for quite some time thanks to the included pseudo-SLC cache. Once the cache has been fully utilized, the drive will write directly to the QLC portion, meaning that we will see rates of around 70MB/s. http://www.madshrimps.be/articles/article/1001435/ |
