OCZ PC4400 Dual Channel Memory Kit BETA

To the 550Mhz fray and beyond with OCZ. They have endeavoured to produce another fine Dual Channel memory kit for Intel or AMD systems. In the latter, latencies wouldn´t be where you might want them; in the former it´s the high FSB which produces bandwidth.

While I truly enjoyed the benefit of such high FSB speeds, I wonder if it wouldn't better to simply start from a higher jump off point. For example a CPU with a higher multiplier such as the 3.0 “C” or 3.0 “E” (aka Prescott) and OCZ's new Enhanced Bandwidth Platinum Series EB3500. With this combination one would have the best of both worlds: High frequencies and tight latencies.
Isn't it about time to make a nice comparrisson review between low multi, high fsb proc + high mhz mem and high multi low fsb proc + those EB sticks? ;)
