Default NVIDIA 7900GT VGA Card Roundup

We compare four 7900 GT video cards ranging from the price competitive Club 3D to the outrageously overclocked EVGA version; between those two extremes there are interesting products from Sparkle and MSI which also sport factory overclocked speeds. Read on to find out how they perform in games, how high they overclock and if their cooling is effective and quiet

Nice review, thanks! Interesting to note the astronomical overclocks don't really show as much of an improvement as one might otherwise tend to believe...

I wanted to ask if you know of any sound recordings of this “tjirping” noise, though? I'm curious if it's the same sound my backUPS likes to make under very specific circumstances...

hi there, glad you liked the review. I don't have a recording of the high pitched noise, while it was quite noticeable, I don't know if a recording would really catch it

Hmm, well is it like the same sort of (sound) frequency a cricket chirping would make, except the sound is in short, brief repeating bursts, spaced with periods of silence before it comes back?

the chirping noise is constant as soon as you put the card under stress
