| >but is it realy @ 5x ? >just test it. right now i have it at 166mhz with the multiplier at 11.5 which is lower than 12.5 obviously and i didnt unlock the cpu and windows shows it as 1.92ghz so apparently it works. |

| do i need to connect the L3 bridge if i want to put fy FSB to 166MHz instead of 133MHz. I have a 2200+ with a7n8x-deluxe and a 1800+ with a a7v333. What exactly do i need to do, I've tried changing only the FSB and get the error CPU failed cause of overclocking ( voice error with the asus mobo ) when trying to start the computer. do I need to unlock the cpu by connecting the L3 bridge changing the FSB to 166MHz and lowering the multiplier?? Thanks |

| you can get some info with [g]CPU-Z[/g] but not all, the exact code is only available by looking at the core of your CPU
