| How come we don't see the use of Dual core driver similar to AMD for Intel to optimize performance? Is the issue related to AMD only? Interesting to know.

| I think a special driver is not needed for Intel, unless I'm mistaken, since they have always been "closer" to Microsoft than AMD when it comes down to Windows driver support and default functionality. but like I said, www.intel.com and most likely the latest set of .inf files for your motherboard chipset should suffice. Dual Core is basically DUAL CPU and Windows does support this natively; maybe AMD's implementation is slightly different that's why it needs a seperate driver to make it work correctly. have you heard many gaming issues with Dual Core Intel systems? There have been many reports on AMD.
