HEC Power Supply - An inside look of a PSU manufacturer

HEC/Compucase is a major OEM power supply and case manufacturer. Its business partners include Toshiba, Hitachi, LG Electronics and some of the well known brands in the PC enthusiasts market. In my last business trip to Southern China, HEC sent me an invitation to tour their plant located in Shenzhen, China.

Nice article. I'd be interested to know who the 'name tags' that HEC manufacture for are?

The sound chamber dBA level observations were interesting too jmke...

=)

names are unfortunately confidential. at least 3 very well known PC- enthusiast-minded companies use HEC manufactured Power Supplies; one of them also for cases.

Crop a bit of the original;)

you don't have a higher resolution version. current one looks crappy at 2560x1024

I never set mine camera to the highest setting; not really needed for PC viewing unless for hard copy. 1600x1200 is what I normally use.;)

It's a fantastic view 'in the flesh'. Highly recommend a trip up the mountain at sunset too!

There used to be a path called the "lover's lane" that goes around the the peak at about 3000 feet high. It took around 1 hour for the walk. :)

It is about the height of the building inside the cloud.

Aopen, thermaltake, Antec names were seen around the place I visited:)
I can only tell you what I saw at the time, nothing more. I made no promise and my eyes might be seeing things that were not there.
