Do you have a lowprofile northbridge cooler (old IC7), or a orb-like, taller, northbridge cooler (newer IC7)?

The thermaltake giant ii might come to close to the northbridge cooler. I tested it on a IS7 (same layout as IC7) with the 3cm tall northbridge cooler taken from an asus p4p800, and it didn't fit. If you use a lowprofile nb cooler it would be no problem though.

However, you'd save yourself some trouble if you just use a zalman hp80a/c.

I don't know which exactly is it. It is a rounbd blue heatsink. But i think its a bit more away from the vga slot then that one of the IS7. Which model do you suggest of Zalman? (I have a Geforce FX 5600)

Sorry to insist - but is the hp80a / not hp80c good enough for an FX5600 256Mb with Ram Sinks?

Sorry for being so insistant!

Thanks

Your FX5600 is going to get real hot if you don't have decent casecooling.

If you have a blowhole near your vidcard, you have nothing to worry about. If you have at least one 80mm intake and 2 80mm outtake fans (PSU + 1), it would be a small risk. if you don't/barely have any casecooling at all, I would't risk it.
