Maybe it's my spliff pulling a trick on me, but i sure as hell am confused

PS: been playing with a 750 myself the past hours on a P55M UD2.
Though it's the cheapest mobo out there and doesn't have fancy options, i got to 4.4ghz in a flash.
That is also where i had to stop, on a stock cooler it's not that willing

That's around 210 BCLK right? It's not the cooling, it's the silicon of your cpu

most of the lynnfield chips max out at around 205-210 bclk on air cooling

need more cold, most love single stage for max bclk testing .

Even single stage doesn't max out the chips; you need actual LN2 to max out any lynnfield.

Or a crappy cascade of course

it still do's the stuff for needed testing .
still cheaper on year base then LN2 , when game rig is done il rebench.
