Gonna retest the Blades on an X58 board this afternoon. I really hope they are still in working condition, but ... I'm not postive as the boot-up also reported 2GB at one time

Switched to bios F5c and running two sticks (#1 and #2) again. No issues so far.

#1 and #2 are just fine, check screenshot. Now testing #3 ... but looks
