Ola ola :D Don't tell Diegis0n what? "The game has changed"? :-/

Massman 18th September 2009 12:36

Maybe it's my spliff pulling a trick on me, but i sure as hell am confused :D

PS: been playing with a 750 myself the past hours on a P55M UD2.
Though it's the cheapest mobo out there and doesn't have fancy options, i got to 4.4ghz in a flash.
That is also where i had to stop, on a stock cooler it's not that willing :p

That's around 210 BCLK right? It's not the cooling, it's the silicon of your cpu

Yes it is, what do you mean "it's the silicon" :-p

Massman 18th September 2009 19:44

most of the lynnfield chips max out at around 205-210 bclk on air cooling

need more cold, most love single stage for max bclk testing ;).

Massman 18th September 2009 19:54

Even single stage doesn't max out the chips; you need actual LN2 to max out any lynnfield.

Or a crappy cascade of course :p
