eVGA 7800GS CO SuperClocked - High end AGP Video Card Review

Is AGP dead? Not yet according to nVidia and eVGA and we applaud their stubbornness. The 7800GS from eVGA we are testing today has an upgraded cooling solution and comes at SuperClocked speeds, way beyond those specified by the reference design. Can this video card give your aging AGP system a boost? Let's find out.

Strange, at 1024x768 the the SuperClocked version is in many cases slower than the "normal" 7800GS. Although the difference is almost neglectable. :D
Also nice to see is that it's not interesting to buy a SuperClocked version if you don't play at high resolutions (1600x1200). Many gamers with for example a good 19" TFT play at a resolution of 1280x1024. The next time you guys review a bunch of graphic cards, maybe you can make a ranking of the cards based on resolution. A little extra for TFT owners. :D

note that this review was done by our colleagues at Overclex; the difference at lower resolutions between the 7800GS and OC'ed SuperClocked is just variation in benchmark score:)
