goodies have arrived, testing can resume :) |
Checking for leaks, 24h test. Next up will be placing the RBX on the motherboard and start stressing the CPU. Asus mobo + P4 2.53 "B" will be tortured. everything will have to fit in one small Antec Lanboy. It will be cramped in there:) |
ow, you leaktest it first, good idea :) |
by that I take it you don't? :) |
do you trust those white hose clamps? if they don't get tightened with a screwdriver, and you can rip them off they're crap. get some real hose clamps then |
leak test will decide if they are crap or not I'd say =) |
lol? I'm exaggerating, but put your feet against the radiator and pull. do they come off easily? |
yes. I will test that right away. sure. lol? The fittings are tight, pulled on them with TerA, they won't come loose unless you want them off. the system is @ TerA's place. |
when the loop is empty, or you've got a barb free (from another waterblock, radiator,...) then you should try it I don't trust them at first sight. they might get loose when you start moving stuff |

fun will start when start switching the nozzles, that'll be fun |
First testrun today Asus P4PE P4 2.53B 512Mb TwinMoS Sabre 200 30min K7burn Room temp 19°C MBM CPU 33°C Mobo 29°C Sensor in Water (reservoir): 19°C Sensor under Mobo/CPU: 37°C not bad:) |
asus undermeasures |
next block-mount sensor will switch places and will be sitting closer to cpu. anywhoo. thank you for your excellent comments:p in the end it's the overclock that matters + noise-rate, will test for overclock on air <> on water also. |
Any news here? |
only final tests with RBX have yet to be completed ... seems to be a performant design :) |
