hello :hello: nintari , thanks for dropping by,

But when turning down the rheobus dial to the lowest setting we hear an unpleasant sound coming from the HSF setup, the fan vibrates at lower RPM and the housing to which it is attached on the Hyper6 starts to make a ringing noise which stops as soon as you lay your hand on the top. Placing rubbers at the top of the heat pipes between fan mounting bracket should resolve this issue. The noise of the Cooler Master at low speed with the ringing sound was almost as taxing as using the Tornado fan at full speed, not a good sign.
when using the Tornado fan I didn't experience the ringing noise from the fan mounting case. if you move the case from side to side you'll notice it touches the tops of the 6 heat pipes causing "some metal noise", now if the that cage would start trembling, as with the fan @ low speed, then you get quite an irritating noise.

check the link in my previous post for more reviews, not everyone experienced this "ringing" though.

What a gigantic thing. There's not to much difference between the temperatures? I should take the sp-94. Yeah and 1 kg is very much imo.

the vibration came from the fan included with the Hyper 6, I used another fan and did not have any problems. I also have plenty of clearance on the case so the heat sink is not touching anything.

But the vibration can only be heard when you have all other fans running silent.

This is the vibration sound I'm talking about www.madshrimps.be/files/CM-Hyper6-vibration.wmv

do note that recorded this mofie next to my main 200CFM workstation :)

great reviewing, great writing.

- the Hyper6 works with heatpipes, they only start to work very good at high temperatures. too bad they only start to function like they should at a temperature that CPU's can't bear. you should try aircooling a TEC with it ;)

- the fan makes a rattling noise at low speed because of the bearing. I've had another coolermaster rifle bearing fan, it's got the same problem
