Excellent article/review, your graphics are getting better and better, and your methodology is some of the best on the web. Good job, and thank's for the link to HotCPUTester I downloaded the Lite version, and it looks great!

By the way have you ever seen this unit? The KAMAKAZE by Scythe of Japan, the cooler is also based on slightly flowered pin design, and comes with mounting hardware for AMD or Intel, 80mm fan, and built-in Rheostat which mounts in the rear PCI slot. All this for $31USA. It simply trounced the SLK700, and the amazing thing in the review I've linked you to, is the unit excelled at the highest temps!

What was the model number of the NMB fan used on the Swiftech heatsink in this article?

uhu, the sink itself is decent, not the best, but decent.

But the mechanism for attaching it to a socket 478, crap, it's already kaput ...

Just decent? How are the temps? I thought the thing had so much potential? I guess you just can't copy greatness?
