No problems whatsoever with the vapo LS + a8v here straight boot.

I have just this question...
when you would compare an fx53 at 3 ghz like mine (vapochill ls)
running at 15*200(1:1 2-2-2-5) to 12*250 (at let's say 2.5-3-3-8)

how much would the difference be in a gaming benchmark like doom3...procentual increase? or 3dmark 2001?

and let's say comparing 250 1:1 with 2.5 3 3 8 to 250 with ram at 200 at 2 2 2 5 ?
is there any actual difference worth noting?

I have no ram that does 250 so I can't test.

well unfortuneately, I don't have FX that can go that high. I can bench at say 2.94, but 24/7 stable I have to go down to about 2.8ghz or so . Watch for coming review that Keith Suppe and I are doing on OCZ EL3200 Rev2 2 2:2:5 memory vs OCZ gold rev3 3700 that does 2.5 3:3:8 at 265mhz. You can see performance diff's there. Yes it's faster. Worth getting new rams? Erm depends on you really. I'll try to ellaborate later.
thanks

I would recommend setting your ram divider to 5:3 and running HTT at 250 anyway and your HT multiplier to 4x, that should provide a nice boost
