All compared to a default Socket A heatsink on a DFI motherboard with a Barton CPU running 2000Mhz @ 1.85v vcore.

Testing done! started at 5pm, it's now 3am... :)

Talking about copying a design :D Nice HS's :grin: , but they prolly weigh a lot.
Ow, and why only clocked at 2000MHz ?

Barton @ 2000Mhz - 1.85v gives of 85-90Watt, quite high to be aircooled with such a small contact area

lowest temp under load: ~56°C
highest temp: 72+°C

the HSF do not weigh as much as you think, the Sharkoon (at the far left) is very light and performance is very good. those made out of aluminum offer quite a nice performance/price ratio

My SLK947 keeps my 105W CPU cool at ~55° with not that much noise.

//edit: with more noise: 48°c :D.
