AMD AM2 Heatsink Compatibility List

A new AMD socket has been launched, and with it a new mounting bracket, it renders a lot of well known heatsinks useless, we've compiled an extensive list of those which still fit the new AM2 platform out of the box. Essential read for those looking to upgrade.

Added Zalman CNPS9500-AM2 and updated Titan Vanessa S/Siberia, they now also support AM2 through use of a new clip. Added Aerocool X-Fire AM2

they better need that bracket for an uber powerfull and silent stock heatsink made by AC or else some people will be very pissed

there *might* be an AM2 version of the Ninja. Scythe is not sure yet what they'll do

I think they shouldn't release a Ninia for AM2 unless they supply 4 fan brackets =P

I don't think they include extra brackets just for two customers out there

got this tidbit of info from Thermalright: "Thermalright is planning to release a new mounting bracket for AM2, no date specified yet though"

send off an email yesterday to Asetek, no news yet. Swiftech is working on AM2 mounting hardware for their waterblocks
