uhm..those indents are there to create a space between the white cover and the black heatstink. Those can also be found on the PAL8942 :) |
* very small grooves can be noticed when up close, machine lapping at work * also notice the "latches" to hold the white bracket above the heatsink, those are there for a reason :) I'm comparing the PAL against the Zalman 7000CU @ High the Alpha is equipped with the default fan (M82 silent / M81 loud) I compared the Zalman 7000 against the MCX478-V and SP-94 here, so that can give you an idea of the performance of the S-PAL8952 for Intel. |
