Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T Case Review

The ExtremEngine 3T features a massive 250mm side panel fan, and tops it of with a 140mm in-take turbine like design. Promising massive airflow to cool down your hot running components we pit it against other enclosures at the same price point.

MASSIVE man! :ww:

All right jokes aside i was kind of disappointed. With those fans expecting superb heat extraction but I guess the lack of an exhaust fan spoils the party.

Why didn't you add an exhaust fa (or two) to see how a well tuned set up would work?

By the way, I think you meant:
"would not be a bad idea to add..."

the results dissapoint me but won't stop me from trying it with even bigger fans

hehe, indeed; nice catch, thank you.

I think the performance might go up quite a bit if the side panel fan was configured to pull air out of the case.

The hot air is basically not able to escape out of the case?

theretically, overpressure in the case would be good as it would keep the dust inside the filters

I think performance would increase with 2 good 80mm fans as exhaust

and is it possible to add a cross-flow to the bottom? Is it designed for it?

I thought he did add a 120mm fan as exhaust and possibly a PSU with 120mm fan as additional exhaust.

I thought that the large fan blowing on the motherboard would result in great board temperatures but I was dissapointed.
