Win 2Gb OCZ PC2-6400 FlexXLC Memory Kit

Here’s our little new year present for our readers, with help of OCZ, we're giving away our 2Gb review kit of the OCZ PC2-6400 Flex XLC, and we're sending it out to any reader around the globe that is able to answer two questions and fulfill one condition.

1) First question :
Which memory kit had the best UMPR rating (avg CAS) in our P965 (summer) memory roundup, and which one in the 680i (autumn) memory roundup ?

2) Second question :
As of Friday 11th of January 2008, at 12pm, how many correct answers did we receive in our mailbox ?

Send your answers before Friday 11th, 12pm, to contest@madshrimps.be, and provide proof of registry at our forums. The winner will be the person that answered the first question correctly, and provides the closest answer to the second question. He or she will be announced on our Forum on Saturday 12th, and will receive the PC6400 Flex kit at the address provided.!

Later is more than enough :)

Don't want to force anyone in giving up their privacy ;)

Stida 6th January 2008 10:27

thorgal 9th January 2008 18:28

Alright, 2 days left. Those that are in doubt to participate, better hurry ;)

borschtBomber[SS] 12th January 2008 02:18

awww crap...I think I'm too late....its 12pm what time zone? :)

thorgal 12th January 2008 09:41

If you're really quick (I'd say before 11.59am GMT) I'll allow your entry as it's not 12pm theoretically in all of the world (and the time zone was not specified).

For all others I'd say : contest over, time for me to start sifting through the entries :) Check back in a couple of hours to see who has won :woot:

thorgal 12th January 2008 12:27

Here are the results of the Belgian Jury :D

First of all, thank you all for participating. Surprisingly enough, there were many wrong answers to the first question already. We asked what the memory kits were that had the best UMPR rating (avg cas) in our summer and autumn roundups.

Here's the summer one :

The kit with the best average cas rating is the one highlighted in yellow in the Avg cas column, obviously, thus the Team Xtreem PC6400C3 kit.

The autumn one :

In the same column we can find the Corsair PC8888C4F kit now.

The second question than: in the end only 15 people had the first question correct, I wish I could say there were more ;)

So the winner is...

Mr. "IhopeIwin" anonymous

Contratz anonymous ! Please contact me (pm or mail) so we can provide you with your prize.

Thanks again to all for participating, and the ones that didn't win : better luck next time ;-) Meanwhile, keep supporting Madshrimps !

sushrukh 12th January 2008 12:34

I didn't win again but I had the right answer of question 1.By the way, was not that in the rule that, to be eligible to win the prize , the user must have to provide his Madshrimps username ? I can see that the winner hasn't provided any username or Madshrimps registration proof with his entry which was in the rule of the contest.Anyways congrats.

anonymous did reply on the first page in this thread after sending in his answer. He registered especially to be able to participate, and provided his username in the mail he sent us. I don't see what the problem is ?

piotke 12th January 2008 13:23

W00t; my second account won :D

miklbabz 12th January 2008 13:31

Omg, i thought it was a common rule, that people associated with the contest holder doesn't participate. And the fact that you created a second account is a bit awkward, in my opinion.

sushrukh 12th January 2008 13:52

2nd account ? He must be joking.

Sorry sir, i didn't think that anyone can choose " anonymous " as his/her username.I thought that when you have written that anonymous has won, that means the username is unknown to you. That's why i've said so.Sorry for that. :-p

No problem, it was only later that I thought you might have mistaken "anonymous" for anonymous :p

Better luck next time, there will be more contests to come !
