| What's wrong here? I'm like running the program for the past week or something like that, on 2 pc's, 24/7, and the stats show that I have been active for only 2 days (ok, the last update was june 12th, I know, but still it shows one day of inactivity, when I'm pretty sure I was active... ) I was thinking that maybe there was some sort of problem with my router (built in firewall), but that doesnt explain the problem, because I was able to send results from the first 2 days Quote:

the fact that u were active doens't mean that you connected with the servers, if your machine has enough work it wo'nt do a daily update. So what are your settings? You could try turning on the logging system to find out what the problem is.

idd, that could be it but I finish a "project" (containing +/- 320 RC5 packets today, sometimes more, sometimes less) in approx 20 hours, so I guessed I connected to the server about daily to fetch new work... (dunno, its the first time that I actually see the program connect to the server, most times that happens at night :P ) I'll just be patient for another week then I guess. If it doesnt work by then, there's no more use in participating here's some info [parameters] id=insanity_kixx@hotmail.com [triggers] pause-on-no-mains-power=no [misc] project-priority=RC5,DES=0,CSC=0,OGR=0 [rc5] fetch-workunit-threshold=2000 preferred-blocksize=33 randomprefix=83 I adjusted some stuff, exactly as the guide on tweakers.net told me

if you use this fetch-workunit-threshold=2000 it means the client will get 2000 packets and he'll only connect if those 2000 packets are done. I don't think 1PC could do this in 1 day. If you have a constant line (no dial-up) set this to 100 or so.

idd [rc5] fetch-workunit-threshold=2000 is for dail-up users, it caches 2000 packets. it's not bad but if you want to "force" a "flush" to the server so your stats get updated try right mouseclick and select "flush" than it will connect and send it's work
