Overclocking on STOCK cooling should be winning! You're funny Omega, but it looks like you really want to win this. Who doesn't :) Anyhow, I think people that really deserve to win first of all, should be an overclocker... (we all are :)) Second of all, should be running on stock oem cooling... (poor soul... like me:() And lastly but not least, have poor cooling resulting in high temperature in the system... (hot as hell like my idle 41°C :grum:) Now on to the specs... ASUS A8N32-SLi Deluxe Gamer Edition (please gimme the cooler that matches this :)) AMD Athlon64 3700+ oc'd @ 2.75GHz (250*11) Platinum 1GB DDR Dual Channel Ram @ DDR458 2.5-3-3-5 (although the name, these are value rams) MSi NX6600GT oc'd @ 550MHz/1090MHz (gfx card already poor, processor is slowing it down even more) 2x250GB Maxtor SATA2 HDD @ RAID0 (only goodies in this system) 2 Fans (trying to cool but makes too much noise) Room temp 24-26°C CPU @ idle 41°C (in BIOS it shows 44°C) CPU under load can reach up to 52°C  This is my CPU... currently sleeping @ 41°C There's a side fan to cool my case... but doesn't seem to do much  There's also a top fan in the case... I tried to put this fan on the rear also, but it didn't help. :( |
BTW... if any of you guys with aftermarket cooling (like Omega's Silentboost or Nessmaster's Cooler Master) wins this contest... please gimme your old cooler. I'll pay the shipping :) |

without the duct my system gets unstable sometimes :( which is REALLY depressing considering i paid 30 bucks for this >_< |
Omega: maybe you should switch back to stock fan... maybe something else is wrong... maybe you're one of those that shouldn't tetter with their hardwares ;) |
