core download problems = firewall problems ? Try quiting the client, re-configure the firewall and start it back up.

Did you fill in the connections tab correctly ?

yup, everything filled out correctly but no core download errors persist.
I'm in Madshrimps team 3365, but he keeps givng me those errors

log : "+ Downloading new core: FahCore_65.exe
- Error: HTTP GET returned error code 0
+ Error: Could not download core
+ Core download error (#3), waiting before retry..."

Which firewall ?

great idea guys and it is awesome your helping a noble cuase and its on our team..

may I suggest this.. create your own user names and add the madshrimp website address to the end of it ... that way you can estyablish rank moung your own team - rank competion spawns greater folding growth!

GREAT idea but let me interject..

don't create one user.. add [madshrip] to the end or [www.madshrimps.be] to
the end of each folding members name....
that way your site will get a plug from our ranks - you help our team and
you have your own team as well...

what this does is give each of you your own folding stats... so the sub team of madshrimps will have its own ranks of order to follow ...
like if xtremesystems was a sub team my user would be:

JBELL (xtremesystems.org)

..now all the stats will be listed under xtremesystems .. but with the website at the end of your name - you can easily see what your TEAM has donated as well as what each MEMBER has donated... and track everyone that way.

ah, thought it was a trick to get our own team-stats, or a trick to easily summen the team effort.

But this is just a name we choose ..

Then i prefere "[MADshrimp] nick" ... so, if you put the names alphabetically .. all team members are .. euh ... /smacks head with plastic hammer ... alphabetically ... and thus easy to compare

right you can list alphabetically within www.statsman.org but not with folding.stanford.edu.....

but putting site first is cool - how ever you want to do it.
