No extra power connectors, but I can always add one myself :)

Underneath the heatsink we find the GPU where Silver based thermal grease is being applied.



This card is equipped with 4x32Mb memory, brand: Samsung.

The front cover of the heatsink can be removed with 4 screws, though to a low amount of fins this heatsink will be as good as unusable:

he has build himself a light box, very cool, cheap and the effect it has on pics is amazing as you can see, camera can be pretty much any half decent digicam:)

I tried to build one of those JMke posted above, but it didn't work out as good as it supposed to be. My second build was even more simple, but very effective in the end. In fact, you only need a box and white paper to build it. First you need to remove the top and side panel of the box so that light can fall in on top of your object, and so that you have all the space to point your camera. Then make the box white inside so that you have a clean white background on your pictures. White also reflects light and so shaduws can be made less dark, though I do not think it's that effective in my 'lightbox'.
I decorated my box with white paper but that seem to lose it's color over time and so I moved on to a white bedsheet. In very detailled pictures you can with no doubt still see the uneven surface of the sheet I normally use.
As lightsource, nothing special either, I put my box underneath a simple TL-lamp which we are using in our kitchen.

My camera, a Traveller Slimline X5, is not one of the best camera's out there. Pictures have a high failure rate if taken on 'auto' mode, so every time I turn on the cam I always have to run through the configuration menu in order to get the pictures looking like how I want them to be. Most of the time I take one picture and then I retake it with a different 'light configuration' just so that I have the luxury to choose the best out if both. And even then I the final set is not all that great, most of the time Photoshop is being used to further improve the pictures.

Voltage read points, seems like people are allready in high need of voltage modifications :)

The chips near the readout points are probably the voltage regulators for gpu/mem?

Let's hope so, I'm not a soldering wizard, but some SMD grabbers could do the trick for me.
