| FX5200(SE) GPU & MEM mod Hi guys, here's another vmod, this time of an little older lady The key to voltmod Leadteks FX5200SE is the 14-legged IC "APW7060" which controls both, GPU and MEM voltage. Datasheet: http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datashe...C/APW7060.html The IC is placed on the front near the GPU, I had to take off the passive cooling unit of my model to reach it. For modding this gfx card just connect a variable resistor between Pin6 and ground and another between Pin9 and ground. On the picture you can see that i used 2x 50k variable resistors but 20k vr's will do the job better, espacially if you increase the voltage alot Standard voltages are: 1.44(GPU) 2.58(VRAM) Reading points: Messpunkt=MeasurePoint Massepunkt=Ground Greetings malk Last edited by mAlkAv!An : 11th December 2008 at 17:19. |

| When you're adding caps try placing them as close to the Vgpu measure point as possible, cables will allow noise to appear. |
