if you use a case, no cat problems
or train your cat to not jump around, mine listens quite well

Blind, this is how we do it, Prometia waterchilling:

No results so far, watertemp just barely below ambient... waterblock has totally frost tight in just 15~30min

EDIT: Switched pumps and gave it another shot, but even before the prometeia unit reached thermal exilibrium the waterblock is frozen tight! I suggest you take a strong water-ethanol mixture to keep things running, a high load might help too but having the right mixture is more important.

I got 5L 99% pure ethanol, I can make the perfect mixture myself if I wanted to, this was just a quick test

Indeed

Then again, if a waterblock frosted tight this quick I don't really think a heatpipe cooler will do any good. Blind is currently testing with a quadcore intel heatsink, let's wait for the outcome

down to -30°C? Quite an accomplishment if you ask me, don't forget the system is totally not designed to do this! Good luck with actually chilling your water loop, we demand pics!

EDIT: I love these ghetto pics, we should get a ghetto picture competition next time instead of oc-compo
