![]() | The netbook market has exploded on the consumer electronics market in the past few years, and has put pressure on notebooks and PCs. The smaller, lighter products are legitimate products for both work and entertainment, while tablets are still niche products for consumers. To catch up with a company not as well known for netbooks, Alameda Tech recently caught up with Hercules to discuss its eCAFE netbook lineup. “With the latest eCafe EX HD and Slim HD, we’ve endeavored to offer the slimmest and lightest netbook models available, with the longest battery life, at competitive prices,” Hercules recently told us during an interview. The eCafe EX HD and Slim HD were first introduced in late March, and I soon discovered how many tech users seemed to not know. Hercules lacks the PR power of Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Asus, and other companies that have very appealing netbook choices. http://bit.ly/ixZOWn |
