Icon1 [H]: AMD To Launch 65nm CPUs December 5th

According to DigiTimes, AMD is set to launch its 65nm Athlon 64 X2 lineup on December 5th. The report does note that motherboard makers expected AMD to launch its 65nm Athlon 64 X2 CPUs in November.

The report said AMD will introduce its new dual-core Athlon 64 X2 CPU (codenamed Brisbane) on December 5. The reason behind the launch, which is called earlier-than-expected, is said Dell's considerable consumption of AMD CPUs that caused the CPU shortage at the clone market.
