 | I've never found the needs in any Raid configs for home and home lan situation. There are better ways in backing up my data and OS.

 | used it for several years, until data got corrupted on the array, and the RAID 1 setup was completely useless as data corruption was present, of course, on both drives in the array. I'm now using a simple incremental backup file copy from one disk to the other; in worse case scenario, I lose data from 12h old.
