Default DG: Sony dismisses customer complaints, refuses to acknowledge defects

Apparently Sony has refused to acknowledge what aopears to be a growing defect problem in their high end XBR2/3 LCD televisions, which sell for over $3000. Multiple customers heave reported that Sony refuses to accept responsibility for sub-standard LCD screens that show a back-light clouding issue appearing during dark scenes.
