Default Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand: Cools and Lifts

You have to admit one thing – Cooler Master is restless as far as churning out new notebook coolers goes, to the point of it being bewildering how such a simple device can be created in so many variations. The latest model carries the title NotePal ErgoStand, “Ergo” obviously standing for “ergonomic”. The easiest way to describe this NotePal would be – a combination of the old NotePal S and the recently reviewed models, it’s intended for use with notebook sizes of up to 17”. The ErgoStand is made of black plastic, with a metal net containing four spring-buffers, which prevent the notebook to slip, but also protect it from scratches. The construction is very robust, resulting directly in a somewhat greater weight (just over a kilogram). Although most of it is made of plastic, the device leaves an impression of a high-quality product, with a very good finish…
