Razer started off CES by announcing two new gaming products that it hopes you love. As expected from a gaming peripheral company, the products should offer a better advantage, but at a cost some of you will not want to spend.

First up is the Razer Destructor, a new mouse pad designed for both optical and laser mice. The $39.99 USD product is "coated in a highly reactive gunmetal finish," along with offering almost 40 percent better tracking with a laser mouse when Razer compared it with competing mouse pads.

The other major Razer announcement is the Razer Mako, a 2.1 advanced audio system co-developed with THX. The $399.99

“Razer and THX have engineered the Razer Mako to perfection, so that gamers and
music enthusiasts will have nothing less than a top-notch listening experience. The
Razer Mako is how desktop audio is meant to be heard; users will demand nothing less
from future speaker systems,” said Robert “Razerguy” Krakoff, president of Razer. “The Razer Destructor is able to offer much better tracking for both
optical and laser mice, and is a testament to our continued commitment to the growth
of the competitive gaming scene.”

I haven't seen either product yet, but can't wait to stop by and test them out during CES. It's possible we may see these products in our labs, but we'll see...
