GlacialTech Igloo 5750 CPU Cooler Tested Next in line for our HSF roundup, the Igloo 5750 from GlacialTech. It uses two 92mm fans in a push/pull configuration running at 1200~1300rpm as measured by our Tachometer. Our full review of the Igloo will be featured in our upcoming roundup, in the meanwhile we share the test results with our loyal readers:) Undervolting the fans at 5v resulted in overheating of the CPU as the fans run only at ~420rpm and this is simply not enough. Luckily at full speed the fans still remain quite silent; noticeably less noisy than Intel's stock HSFs. Cooling wise pretty impressive results, just see how it does against the Freezer 7 Pro and Thermalright Ultra-120: For its size and push-pin installation it does deliver impressive results here, performance/noise ratio comes close to Ultra-120 , while beating the Freezer 7 Pro with a margin! |
nice results. But it could be just me but i think its ugly :-p |
as soon as you close the side panel , visuals are moot ;) I was surprised by the result actually, most coolers with smaller fans AND more than one are not that impressive, this one does pretty well and this despite the push-pin mounting! (with a small mounting modification you can extract better performance ) |

And its a rather good cooler considering the push-pins. And what small mounting modification :-p |
