Just opened it, didn't focus too much on piccies ( there are some dirty fingers on it already , need to wipe them off with a special product )

Yep it's darn heavy, no alu for sure... will finish that review next week, using it a the moment testbed for the nations cup...

I can't tell from the pics...is it single tier or more than one?

Also, since it is metallic, will you take heat measurements?

Single tier, why do I need to take heat measurements ? As it's an open setup, for benching/testing purposes

and we all know that without active airflow some parts can get HOT;
HDD especially; and some parts of the mobo
inside a case there is airflow over everything

On a benchtable you add fans over the critical hot spots (ram, NB and PWM's)... noone's gonna buy a benchtable to run their daily setup on...
