 |  well guess the temps are correct, heatsink makes 100% contact with the core.. I think the installation of the SP-97 can provide more pressure on the CPU core , then the spring-methord install of the MCX462-V, can account for the pretty huge difference!

| okay, remounted a third time.. the CPU temp is again @ 52.5°C the room temp is 21°C compared to 20° yesterday.. so that puts the final "score" of the MCX462-V @ 4500rpm: 51.5°C someone else put the Swiftech versus the older SLK800
