The 3rd box contains 80mm fans which are delivered to resellers by default and will be used in the upcoming review to measure performance "out of the box"!

Expect more, none-boxed pics soon!

(That metal cover u place on the hs and atach fans on)

uhm..those indents are there to create a space between the white cover and the black heatstink. Those can also be found on the PAL8942

* very small grooves can be noticed when up close, machine lapping at work
* also notice the "latches" to hold the white bracket above the heatsink, those are there for a reason



I'm comparing the PAL against the Zalman 7000CU @ High
the Alpha is equipped with the default fan (M82 silent / M81 loud)

I compared the Zalman 7000 against the MCX478-V and SP-94 here, so that can give you an idea of the performance of the S-PAL8952 for Intel.
