How about another poll on weapon of choice by games listed?
Shot gun is the best with Doom3 and HL2; Rifle for Far Cry

anyone else loved Far Cry because it felt so similar to Project IGI? ( I wonder where the devs got the Jackhammer idea =P)

From that list: Serious Sam 2.

Best FPS of all time: Doom 2.

I can't believe FEAR is winning. Played all of them and no doubt Far Cry and HL2 are way out in the lead. HL2 especially has a great storyline, although it is a very restrictive game. FEAR has SlowMo matrix style which probably makes it stand out a bit from the crowd of FPS's

FEAR is most likely winning because it's "newer"

no votes for Doom 3; unoriginal gameplay and boring multiplayer doesn't make it an appealing choice

Call of Duty 2 now.
I voted HL2 because I didn't have the game then (when I voted).
