You can buy 65nm dualcore CPUs today Intel goes 65nm on Server+Desktop and Mobile in 6 weeks. Intel also goes dualcore on all these markets. Why is 65nm so important when you goes dualcore? 65nm is almost half the die size of 90nm. 90nm dualcore id HUGE. Thats why AMD has sold so few (and expensive) CPUs with dualcore. The important thing is that Intel can deliver cheap dualcore CPUs in volume, AMD can not. http://www.aceshardware.com/forums/r...7250&forumid=1 |
I'm shocked by that statement the Intel way of thinking : Quality doesn't matter , being able to ship large quantities cheap that's what counts... (making large profits is much more important to Intel than making quality CPU's) thank you INTEL :super: |
too bad that those dualcore CPUs aren't REAL dualcores and still don't have an onboard memory controller afaik but Yonah might be intresting instead of the netburst architecture crap, see anandtech |
