XFX is planning a 1GB model of Radeon HD 4770, which ships with only 512MB GDDR5 normally. According to the picture below, found in XFX Radeon HD 4770 marketing, reveal a new product box for a card that will double the stake.


Unlike XFX' reference card, the 1GB card will get an X-shaped box, like the top models of the Radeon HD 4890 series, but it still looks to operate at the same frequencies.
