XFX to overclock Geforce 7950GX2 core to 570MHz (500Mhz=Default)
 

WE HEAR THAT the mighty Udjes Desai, chief of Geforce desktop business at Nvidia, won't allow its partners to overclock the first Geforce 7950 GX2 cards. Despite that, some of them will come up with the faster cards. Nvidia wanted to be a little more conservative with the first batch of cards but XFX made a deal with the big, green firm.

that should make it more interesting...

not if the price goes up, which it does, €675 at Tones

and no support for quad yet... so if that's not up to par, it's no use for sli-owners.

it's not aimed at being an upgrade for SLI owners....

I know, but sli owners often are the people who want max performance, and who in the future would opt for quad sli...

there are way too many rich people =/
