Windows 8: Hate It Already? Waiting Won't Help
 

If you are with the school of thought that waiting for the next version of Windows will improve your chances of going back to 'normal' Windows functionality, you had better rethink your strategy. The signs point to a strategic shift in priorities at Microsoft looking toward the future, which in this case, looks like it favors hand held devices over work stations. Either way, it's highly unlikely that Microsoft will abandon its current vision and let this new wave of computing pass the company by. Desktop purists may not like the new look of Windows, but it's here to stay.
