What motherboard maker brand names does your PC illiterate friend know?

How well known are motherboard brand names? If you mention Abit, MSI, DFI, Asrock, etc to a friend of yours who's not into PC hardware, does he looks puzzled?

What brands do they know?

maybe put in the option "none"

some of my friends only now if they have a ati of geforce videocard, or p4 or AMD. The rest of the specs are quickly forgotten

I don't think any of my non-PC friends or family know any of those motherboard brands that you listed.
