Default VIA Technologies has been rumored to be planning to quit the chipset business

With Intel's 1333MHz FSB (front side bus) patent license renewal still not yet settled, VIA Technologies has been rumored to be planning to quit the chipset business. However, according to PC makers with close ties with VIA, the company will not quit the chipset business and instead will switch its focus from third party chipsets to chipsets for its own C7 processor platform.
