The ChiliBox is a small Mini-ITX PC with just 256MB of RAM but a huge 120GB hard drive - all neatly installed in a fun bright red case. It's the well thought out interface to it's wide range of features that really stands out however. Essentially the ChiliBox is a router and server in one package. It connects PCs on its network to the internet and allows them to share files. It also acts as a POP3 email server. All of this is bolstered by the security offered via firewall, VPN and NAT features. The interface for configuring all of this is easy enough for someone without much knowledge, to get all of the basic functionality up and running quite easily, but also comprehensive enough for a more experienced user to take advantage of some more complicated options. This article provides an overview of the features for the novice networker.
