Ubisoft announces Far Cry 2
 

Ubisoft has announced a development of Far Cry 2, which should be launched in the spring 2008 for PC. After the original FarCry, Crytek signed the deal with EA to create a new game, the one you now know as Crysis. This left Ubisoft with rights to the FarCry name, and now the rumors are confirmed with Ubisoft's press announcement for the FarCry 2 development.
