| Afaik you don't need the sli connector to get sli running. The performance gain will be a bit less, but stil noticeable. |

| That was only for the low-end cards... the high-end saturate the PCIe bus / chipset and get bogged to quickly. I can't remember where I had seen this though, might have been back with Quad SLI I think... |
